As a Broadcast Coordinator Volunteer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our worship services, events, and messages are effectively broadcasted to our congregation and beyond. You will work closely with our media team, clergy, and volunteers to coordinate the technical aspects of our broadcasts, ensuring seamless delivery of content to our online audience.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Coordination: Oversee the technical setup and operation of audiovisual equipment for live broadcasts, ensuring high-quality production standards are maintained.
- Broadcast Scheduling: Work with the scheduling team to coordinate broadcast times for worship services, special events, and other church activities.
- Content Management: Assist in the preparation and management of digital content for broadcast, including pre-recorded videos, slideshows, and other media assets.
- Troubleshooting: Act as the primary point of contact for technical issues during broadcasts, troubleshooting problems as they arise and implementing solutions in real-time.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with our media team, clergy, musicians, and volunteers to ensure a cohesive and engaging broadcast experience for our audience.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to volunteers involved in the broadcast process, helping them develop the skills and confidence needed to contribute effectively.
Qualifications:
- Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with audiovisual equipment, including cameras, microphones, lighting, and streaming hardware/software.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and stakeholders simultaneously.
- A passion for serving others and spreading messages of faith and community.
- Prior experience in broadcast production or media coordination is preferred but not required. Training will be provided for motivated individuals willing to learn.
