We are searching for a Youth Sabbath Teacher with excellent communication skills.
Youth Sabbath Teacher responsibilities:
- Create lesson plans.
- Assist with fundraising events related to youth programs.
- Develop educational plays and skits.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom.
- Assign homework and assist the children in completing projects.
- Manage report cards, track attendance, and provide reports to parents.
- Must be available to teach youth Sabbath classes and classes during events
- Must complete any training and attend seminars as needed
- Proficient in reading and writing comprehension
- Looking for someone reliable that has a passion for the scriptures, is good with children, very patient, and committed to the vision we have for bringing up our children in the word of God.
Additional qualities that we’re looking for:
- Eager to learn, willing to take initiative, team player, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Displays a solid foundation in the scriptures.
- Shows genuine love and care for students, parents, and the body of Christ.
- Must be patient and able to control your emotions and manage those of the children.
- Must be a well respected and active member of True Spirit of Christ
- Must be over the age of 21
- Willing to commit to a long term volunteer teaching position
- Solid organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to multitask, ability to problem solve, and have a willingness to wait for results and try new approaches.
Experience is preferred.
