We are searching for a Community Service Lead with excellent communication skills and networking abilities.
The Community Service Lead will plan, direct, or coordinate the activities of a social service program or community outreach organization. Oversee the program or organization's budget and policies regarding participant involvement, program requirements, and benefits. Work may involve communicating with social workers, counselors, or probation officers.
Community Service Lead responsibilities:
- Work with community members and other stakeholders to identify necessary programs and services
- Implement and evaluate staff, volunteer, or community training programs.
- Create culture, environments and training to cultivate and guide the team.
- Research and analyze the member or community needs to determine program directions and goals.
- Work alongside the lead pastor in communicating the priority of each mission in accordance with the vision of True Spirit of Christ.
- Analyze data to determine the effectiveness of community service programs
- Suggest and implement improvements to programs and services
- Participate in check ins.
- Participate in special programs and events as needed
- Plan and manage outreach activities for increased awareness
- Write proposals for social services funding
- Represent the church through public speaking engagements or in community wide committees (as needed)
